MERALCO turns over Belen and other X’mas decors

After two weeks of helping the Manila Cathedral-Basilica (MCB) prepare for Christmas celebration, the MERALCO Manila Sector (MMS) turned over the Belen and Christmas lights decorations it put up for the premier Church of the Archdiocese of Manila.

In thanksgiving for the successful “Campaign of Hope, the Maliwanag ang Pasko” Lighting Ceremony held at the historic MCB last November 4, 2008, the MMS supported Manila Cathedral in installing Christmas lights decoration in its outside premises, in constructing the Belen and in giftgiving on December 16, 2008.

The MMS undertook these support activities for the MCB as a part of their Christmas outreach program. In gratitude for their kind help, Msgr. Nestor C. Cerbo, MCB Rector, treated the MMS officials to a breakfast at the Rectory Terrace after their sponsorship of the first day of simbang gabi.
