Holy Sprit Mass slated at MMCB

Catholic Schools in Manila will celebrate the beginning of the school year with a Mass of the Holy Spirit.

The Manila Archdiocesan and Parochial Schools Association, Inc. said the liturgical activity will be held on June 24 at the Manila Metropolitan Cathedral-Basilica.

MAPSA president Msgr. Gerardo Santos said Manila Archbishop Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales agreed to preside over the Mass.

Various Catholic school directors, students, teaching and non-teaching personnel and administrators are expected to attend the gathering.

The Mass of the Holy Spirit has been an annual tradition at the MMCB for years originally mean to commemorate the beginning of a new academic year through prayer.
